One illustrative question · Explore the help below

Maya slipped her drawing into a folder and zipped it inside her bag. Outside, rain tapped against the window.

Why did Maya most likely put her drawing inside her bag?

Show me how to think about it
Look at the weather and what Maya does to protect her drawing.

The rain is the clue. The folder and zipped bag would help keep her drawing dry.

A clear path from “I’m not sure” to “I can try.”

Which program should we start with?

CogAT focuses on verbal, quantitative, and nonverbal reasoning. Phase 2 Math develops mathematical problem solving; Phase 2 Reading builds comprehension and evidence skills. Choose the area your school asks for or the skill your child wants to build.

Does every school use all three?

No. Gifted and Talented screening varies by school. Check your school’s assessment names and requirements; these are separate practice programs, not required stages or a promise of placement.

Will I need to teach every lesson?

Hints, explanations, and guided skill practice help your child work independently. My Path gives them a next step, and saved progress helps you see how they are doing.
